Individuals come to see me for a variety of reasons. Some people are in crisis with their mental health or have suffered some kind of trauma. Many others want to understand themselves and gain some context to their lives. Then there are those who are stuck, want get out of a rut and work towards new goals. I can help. 

I use a blend of counselling, psychotherapy and coaching approaches to assist all of my clients. My experience has always been to provide the approach which works best for you. That's why I use the phrase 'Talking Works' - together, we do the kind of talking that works for you. 

My way of working is that I focus primarily on building a strong, safe and supportive relationship with you. This then allows us to do the work together that you need - to get past your problems and to move towards what you want instead.  

Our sessions can be held in person in Hull or Cottingham. I am also happy to conduct sessions online using Zoom if this feels safer for you.
